its the last official day of school. :/

all in all, im really grateful for this year, and this experience i've had. reading some of my posts from last year, i realise i've really grown alot.it's been a hell of a fun ride with 209. :D

i've said my thanks in one of my previous posts. but for your sake i shall copypaste them here and add more people to the list.

ok tomorrow is the last day of school. and everyone wants answers by tomorrow. i have chosen to go into special stream. and on top of that, my dad allowed me to miss the china trip in order to make it for annual camp. and theres fdc selection as well.

they're also revealing the class allocations tomorrow.

i feel very uncertain about whether i've made the right choices
and where these choices will take me.

ah i dont know. im scared.

oh well. let nature take its course.

gahs. its saturday. cheryl and jamie are off to tampines mall and that thing is still sleeping i think. bored.
got tuition later.
my arms sort of numbed by yesterday. spent 2/3 hrs marching around?
what else. oh yeah. school planning day.ok it was ok i suppose. they should install chairs in the hall or something. it cramps our butts you know. to sit there for 4 hours.

oh yeah. i got offered to go special stream again. but i think i still want to stay in express. its less stressful and all that.its scary competing with people who get 75 and above for avg! i would die.
i think next time they should save their paper and just not ask me. :D if i even qualify next time.

biennale

singapore biennale - belief

i love these post-examination activities. they always give me something to post about. :D

we went to the singapore biennale. which was cool mrs toh told us it was the first time it was being held in southeast asia and it was kind of deep and abstract. took a while for me to understand the stuff. its so cool that some seemingly random crap could make you think about life and death and all that.

got some cool free badges, which , as incredibly kiasu singaporeans everyone partook in grabbing some.

oh yes. mrs lim said that we have to have meticulous natures to study chem. i guess i have to go for serious fine-tuning this hols. im so NOT meticulous or anything near that. im careless. blur. not careful.

suppose it'd be useful for science as well.
im scared of next year. :$

dragon kiln

heheh we went to the dragon kiln today. it was quite fun :D we made pottery - i stuck small beads of clay on mine and they got squished and i exclaimed 'MY BALLS GOT SQUISHED!' and the whole table of people erupted in laughter. oh fine wrong choice of words. ended up looking crappy. :P and then i tried the potter's wheel, and the instructor said i was violent. x] BEWARE.

spent the rest of the day in the library. :D played scrabble with alot of sick words
then went to orchard with jamie for her dentist appointment. oh the stalker was there too. crazy ass.

results and kayaking

well. i shall start off with the happy things :D
GUIDES and NP went to kallang sea sports club for kayaking star one course. what can i say? i guess im kind of slow at learning new things. i need PRACTICE. i learn new things faster when its studies or something. so the first day was quite uneventful and we just learnt the basics and everything.
i got a bit claustrophobic because the kayak was kind of cramped, and you have to sit there for hours and cant move your legs.we learnt capsize drill, which was fun :D but me and caitlyn always forget to tap and stuff. and they taught us how to go straight, which is also quite hard because the kayak spins around on its own according to the water currents and stuff.
the second day was more fun. we ventured out and learnt group rescuing. which is quite fun! i took ages to climb back into my kayak and the instructor got stung by a jellyfish. me and xinyi rescued cheryl and she was complaining that she was dying. we WERE kind of slow. xP
laughed for ages at caitlyn's name on her certificate because it was all split up lee wan hui cait lyn. so i started calling her hui cait. and she started calling me qi aman. which led to qi2 a man. which means ride a man in chinese. and this went on to more perverse jokes.
the second day was loads of fun. i got sunburnt quite severely and everyone was like 'you're RED!' and i think the more they said it the more red i became. T.T im also sore all over. x( i wanna go kayaking and rollerblading again! :D

results.
today we got back all of our results. i got A1 for geog and history. im still taking history anyway. even though i believe in all that environmentally friendly crap, i have more interest in history because learning about landforms and plate tectonics just bores me. however, alot of people in my class are choosing triple sci + geog. i dowanna like, go to class with people i barely know? especially since we're only splitting with the tablet classes. T.T i dont know. but caitlyn and jocelyn are taking history. so i guess at least i'll know SOMEONE. im scared of streaming.

i hate it when you get back unsatisfactory eoy results and you always be like 'oh i'll work harder next year' but in the end you wont. its like. bleah. why cant i just STICK to my resolutions.

i feel so blessed to have so many friends that i can depend on. x) i wish i could have gotten to know you all beforehand. this makes me really want to treasure what little time i have left. i will miss you all loads! and i really hope i can see you all next year. :D

chalet!

CHALET! <3

hey everyone. i just woke up after a 5 hour 'nap'. chalet was awesome! its so cool how we all can bond and stuff. living with your classmates makes you appreciate them more and heh i wouldnt mind if the chalet lasted for 2 or 3 more days.

first day ;

i arrived at 7 ++ and we all were watching princess hours and maggi&me and eating 2-for-1 canadian pizza while the guys were all mahjonging.then we were at the balcony lighting the candles and admiring "ai de huo guang", then later craigven , lucas and liangjie joined us. and craigven started imitating the way stacie orrico sings very retardedly. he also spent majority of the time flinging matches downstairs.and then later all the girls were in our room, we played taboo [WONDERBRA] and talked alot. then me and jiayu and ziting fell asleep while jamie,lynette,rachel and emelia stayed up for the whole night?

second day;

woke up at 4 am. we went to the beach to watch the sunrise. ROMANTIC. took random group photos. it was cool to see the sky turn into clear blue from pitch black. funny how normally we dont notice these things. well, at least, i dont. then we went to shoot hoops. the red army [ me , caitlyn, lynette who were all coincidentally wearing red] and the black army [ rachel, jamie and later on, emelia] . then after that we went to downtown east to eat brunch while rachel, ziting, craigven and emelia went to buy the barbeque stuff. caitlyn , lynette, jiayu, jamie and i were being complete retards in the burger king! we made happy faces with the buns and the hashbrowns and the ketchup. lynette and i have similar tastes in food <3

later we went back to aloha loyang, chilled out awhile before going to rent rollerblades and bikes. ok i dint know how to ride a bike but i knew how to ice-skate so i figured roller blades would be easier to learn.WRONG. it was harder than i expected! and if it werent for jamie and craigven , i think i would have taken off my blades and walked. especially the part where there was a hill, and you have to go up the hill and cross the bridge! i rolled backwards ! and craigven kindly er. stood behind me and tried to make me not roll. in the end, after like an eternity of going one step up and two steps back, i made it! and craigven complained it was my fault that his bicycle seat was hot. oh fine. sorraye. then later fell down numerous times and haha the nice jiejie went to buy drinks for us. came back and played with water bombs! haha really needed that.
went to the arcade for a while and then we went to the beach.
me and jamie tried to assasinate each other with sand and water.

heh during the bbq, its was amazing how much our class people could eat? they even finished off the leftover chicken wings and the sausages? its like o.0 wow.
mr liu and i fed the 2 kitties ^^ at first i was like o.0 why is he talking to a cat. then i sort of joined in =X poor kitties they are like mother and son, xiang yi wei ming or something.

then most of the people went home during the second night. we played taboo and tai ti and watched craigven dance retardedly. [which looks like jamie when she dances retardedly ! say me and caitlyn. ] we made sure craigven WASHED AND SHAMPOOED AND DRIED his stinky hair then later we went to watch some ghost show. i was avoiding the scary parts when i suddenly looked at the screen and saw the ghost girl's face and freaked out and shouted. haha and mr liu was laughing.

later when most of the people were asleep we went nearby for some supper. and then we all went to sleep. craigven finally caved into the temptations and slept! he dint have space in the other rooms so he slept on the floor next to our bed. oh and the bandana sort of got worn by alot of sweaty people.

third day;

we wanted to go see the sunrise again, but we were tired and woke up at 7 . then we ate the leftovers for breakfast. and i was ridden with muscle aches!
we cleared up and me and caitlyn went to the beach and ate potato chips. <3 her! its like you can totally tell her anything and we can talk about alot of stuff.
we talked alot about the end of the world. o.0
then we all packed up and went checked out.
and craigven, geyi, jiayu ,craigven and lucas went bukit timah plaza to play pool or something. me and caitlyn went to eat ben and jerry's!
we shared a cab and went home.
i slept for 4 or 5 hours.

sad that its over, and that the year's almost over. =/ i'll miss you guys!

haha EOYS are over! however, today's maths paper was totally depressing. i almost couldnt finish! i forgot the pyramid thing must times three so i spent all my time figuring out why the answer was 12. so i left that blank. i left the polygon blank. and i left the coordinate geometry thing blank.i swear i wanted to give up on the second paper. depressing.
and instead of feeling hyper after the paper. i had this sinking feeling i screwed up maths and science.

HOME ALONE [:

hist and geog finally over! feel this huge weight lifted over my shoulders. and well maybe i dont care if i screw them up for now i just love that they're over.

im home alone! and theres no other acceptable breakfast foods. so i have to eat white rabbit candy! and lollipops. and have no one else to blame if i get diabetes in my old age.
but being home alone is kinda freaky. theres like this deafening silence.

ah and i went for the youth mass yesterday. at st. ignatius'. the youth choir is really pro. and well. i kinda dint know anyone there so it was kind of awkward cos everyone went with their parents or something. and my mom was working. oh well. had a nice time anyway.
